ADMINISTRATORS

Your Freshman Academy Administrators

Yolanda Grisham

Welcome to our new Spartan Academy administrator, Ms. Yolanda Grisham.  She was previously an administrator at White Station Elementary.  So she knows many of the students here at the Palace.  Ms. Grisham is energetic, friendly and organized.
Welcome, Ms. Grisham!

Greetings Freshmen, Family and Friends!

I was raised in the country about 100 miles northeast of Memphis – near Lexington, Tennessee.  I attended Freed Hardeman College and graduated from Memphis State University.  As a science teacher I “re-started” my career in 1991 at Sherwood Middle School.  Craigmont Middle School was my home for three years when I was Assistant Principal in the middle school.  While working at the Teaching and Learning Academy, I provided professional development to teachers in the district.  In 2006 I came to White Station High School with Mr. Brown in order to begin a Freshman Academy.

As an administrator, I believe that every student deserves the best instruction that teachers can provide.  My job is to provide the resources and support so that every teacher can do their best.  I believe that teachers and administrators should develop positive a relationship with every student.

Reading is one of my favorite things to do.  Political novels written by authors like Tom Clancy and Vince Flynn are favorites of mine.  I love doing crafts – arranging flowers, designing wreaths, etc.

Two of my dreams are to chase tornados and to drive the tram at the zoo.

This is terrific! Great job and congrats to all who worked so hard to do this.
You’re all a great reflection of the excellence at WSHS, students, teachers, administrators.
Keep up the great work!
