Rev. Billy Kyles to Speak to the Alpha Team
30 01 2008On Wednesday, Feb. 6, Rev. Billy Kyles will kick off Black History month at White Station High School by speaking about his experiences in the Civil Rights Movement. He will speak to the Spartan Academy Alpha Team (students who have Ms. Farris for English) in the auditorium at 9:00 AM.
The Facing History staff will also talk about the Facing History and Ourselves course offered at White Station. We hope that many members of the Alpha Team will select this course for their sophomore year.
The WAVE Leadership Team will host a reception for Rev. Kyles after his presentation. Parents are invited.
